The Chicagoland Zephyrs Athletic Association is a not-for-profit, 501(c)(3), youth-oriented, developmental track and field program located in Maywood, Illinois. Youth that are members of the Zephyrs Track Club come from surrounding communities and Chicago.
Founded by Ms. Jane Dickens, the Zephyrs Track Club has been in continuous existence for over 60 years. Zephyrs have had tremendous success as Collegiate, National and International Athletes.
The Zephyrs Track Club provides recreational opportunities for boys and girls, ages 4 –18, who are interested in running competitively and who want to improve their level of conditioning for other sports. The goal for the Zephyrs Track Club is to give youths experience and exposure to track and field events. We encourage self confidence, academic excellence, good sportsmanship, and personal responsibility.
The club participates in age group competition in USA Track and Field (USATF) local, state, regional, and national competitions.
The Chicagoland Zephyrs Athletic Association, a youth-oriented organization, is committed to providing youth, between the ages of 5 and 18, a robust training program that enhances their natural athletic abilities.
We stress honesty, reliability and teamwork. Additionally, we encourage social responsibility, academic excellence, respect for others and self-discipline.
